摘要:
美国自然主义源于现实主义.随着<嘉莉妹妹>的面世,德莱塞投身到了一个漫长的历程之中,这一历程最终使其成为后来被称为自然主义流派中最重要的美国作家之一.他的文学思想和追求在这部小说中得到了充分体现.
